My Answers to some common Premed Questions

Unfortunately, it is very difficult for international students to enter Canadian medical schools. The reason for this is that Canadian schools receive a great deal of funding from the government. Therefore, most medical schools only accept Canadian citizens. This is to ensure that most graduates stay and work in Canada, so as to provide a return on the government's educational investment.

I believe that McGill and Memorial accept American students, possibly as does McMaster. I am not sure if they accept international students from any other country. You can find links to those web-pages via the "Med schools" link available on the front page of my web-site.
