My Answers to some common Premed Questions

I think Dr. Bates (UBC Dean of Admissions) hit it best, when she said:

"What do you like about your family Dr? What would you like to change to make him/her better? Those are the characteristics we want each of our medical students to have."

These are characteristics like: compassion, sensitivity, easy command of English, patience, honesty... the list goes on and on. One thing that will significantly help you in your interviews is to be very comfortable speaking in front of groups. It really helps knock down the jitters that you'll be feeling on interview day.
